Day 2 Monthly Poetry Post

BY MY FATHER'S CULTURE

By my father's culture
I died some thousand years ago
Dreams fulfilled or
un-fulfilled
Here I am again
Struggling with fate engraved in my new life racing behind my dreams

By my father's culture
I once lived as a man
Suffered or unsuffered by a spouse
I know not
But here I am,with love to my name wondering if we met in our former lives

By my father's culture
I have come again to right my wrongs
Which now are but voids in my head
I could remember not
Living yet leaving some or maybe the same wrongs again behind for the next life

By my father's culture
If I should be evil, I shall come again as an animal
Have I been so good in my former life?
I know not
But this life, I shall live for good and if i should come again, let me be an animal not.
