Day 3. April Poetry Challenge

The World We Live In.

The World we live in, april poetry challenge

I have questions for you dear wind
On what note do I call you breeze
Or to which do I name you air?
You are a family you say
But is it not that
which you do that differentiates you?

For what do you live
To whom do you owe your death?
Live or not, only a thing stays in between
That which makes you sleep
And the other that wakes you from slumber

The minute of now
Already a past it shall become
But which is the reason?
That, why you do what you do
Claiming to be sane but how do you tell which is insane?

You call one right
Then tag the other wrong
Who said that which is right is not wrong
And the wrong is not right
But to what do we justify but rules to live better

Zeal to Live better bore these rules
Written or unwritten
Orderliness, the base of it all
World of peace the major pivot
But to what do we owe these vices if not to these same rules

And who do I ask how we truly got here
You that derive joy in the pound of little lads
Or the batter of once perfect face
What name will fit this that we live in
An imperfect perfect world we designed; curse to our course.
